My First Proper Lush Encounter

Before I start in on this post I'd just like to get a few admin things out of the way. Welcome Back!

Sorry about the lack of posts but I have had zero time as a result of year 12 -.- In any case, I'd love to start doing regular posts. At the moment I'm not sure exactly when I will be posting but I'd like it to be once every week or fortnight, we'll see how my time pans out. So, without any further ado my lush post...

During a weekend shopping trip, I decided that I would wonder into the Lush store as
1. I have watched countless Lush hauls to entice me in
2. All of their Christmas products are now out and I'm a sucker for limited edition Christmas products and 3. I'd only ever bought the Lip Scrub (Mint Julips) from Lush.
After staring at the array of bath bombs, ballistics and bubble bars for about 10 minutes unsure of what to buy i finally decided upon the Dorothy Bubble Bar and the Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic (the latter being enabled by Louise or Sprinkleofglitter's latest Lush haul.)

Now as I have not yet tried either of these products I can't really give you a review, however I can tell you that they smell pretty darn good. I'm not the best at describing scents but I can tell you that the Dorothy Bubble Bar smells of clean, as weird as that sounds it smells of a really nice soap- it is actually amazing. For a description that makes more sense this is what Lush says 'At the end of this rainbow there's a sky blue bath scented with Ylang Ylang and Orange Blossom.'
As for the Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic, all i can say is that I am really excited to try this. While it again, smells pretty good 'The champagne-like fragrance of sweet orange oil, cognac oil and lime oil will uplift your spirits' according to Lush, what excites me the most is what it does. According to the lady in the store, the description on the sticker and Louise in her video, when you put this into the bath the water firstly turns gold, and little gold stars come out, then it turns a turquoise colour as there's a little box of the same colour inside this present, and then inside that theres little purple bath bombs! Personally, i just think it does not get any better than that.

I'm looking forward to trying these two products in the next few days and I'm pretty sure that I will be going back to a Lush store to get some more limited edition Christmas products. Whoops. I'll try and let you know how that goes!
But for now, happy blogging everyone!
Ciao x

  1. Oooh, Lush Cosmetics...they look look awesome, and sometimes even delicious which is quite a dangerous thing... It's a shame that we don't have them in my country though T__T One new follower ♥
